This classic Tiramisu is made authentically in the Italian way, with espresso soaked ladyfingers layered with a light and airy mascarpone cream will get your tastebuds dancing.

Ingredients
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 4 Tbs Sugar
  • 500 g Lactose Free Mascarpone Cheese
  • Zest from one Lemon
  • 150 g Gluten Free Lady Fingers
  • 200 ml cold Espresso
  • 4 Tbs Marsala oder Dessert wine
  • 2 Tbs Dark Cocoa powder
Directions
  • Step 1 Place egg yolks with the sugar in bowl and whisk until stiff peaks are formed (approx 5 min). Then fold in lactose free mascarpone and lemon zest.
  • Step 2 Halve the ladyfinger biscuits and lie flat next to each other in a baking tray forming a flat layer. Pour half of the cold expresso and marsala over the biscuits, coating them as evenly as possible.
  • Step 3 Take half of the mascarpone cream mixture and spread it evenly across the top of the lady fingers. Then, using the remaining cold expresso and marsala, pour over once again. Cover with the remaining mascarpone cream mixture.
  • Step 4 place the tray in to the refrigerator for 2 hours and then remove half hour prior to serving.
  • Step 5 Lightly cover the Tiramisu with cocoa powder prior to serving.

  • Step 2 Place egg yolks with the sugar in to TM bowl and whisk until stiff peaks are formed 3 mins/ – / Speed 4, or until thick and white. Then add to TM bowl the lactose free mascarpone and lemon zest and blend again for 30 secs/ – /Speed 3.
  • Step 3 Halve the ladyfinger biscuits and lie flat next to each other in a baking tray forming a flat layer. Pour half of the cold expresso and marsala over the biscuits, coating them as evenly as possible.
  • Step 4 Take half of the mascarpone cream mixture and spread it evenly across the top of the lady fingers. Then, using the remaining cold expresso and marsala, pour over once again. Cover with the remaining mascarpone cream mixture.
  • Step 5 Place the tray in to the refrigerator for 2 hours and then remove half hour prior to serving.
  • Step 6 Lightly cover the Tiramisu with cocoa powder prior to serving.
